About Heartbeat-nwcc.Org.uk

Heart and circulatory disease is the UK’s biggest killer. Those that survive or live with a heart condition need care and support. Heartbeat provides rehabilitation which brings the opportunity to lead a full and active life. Our education programme aims to prevent and reduce the future incidence of heart disease. The charity was founded in 1978 by Keith and Rose Redman in memory of their teenage daughter who died from coronary illness.
