My professional occupation is web programming, LAMP (Linux + Apache + MySQL + PHP). I have a regular job and work as a freelancer just as well. Yet, I must admit it was never sufficient to collect enough money for a decent Mac computer. Currently, I use a PC computer with Windows running on it. This is how I came to this idea of collecting money from donations (and from other sources of course) to buy a Mac, preferably MacBook (to easily take my work wherever I go).

Also, if you want to support the work on any of my project (like the Mail2RSS.org service) you can do it here, too. I believe if you use something and like it, you should encourage the creators.
