Description
The STD Awareness Ribbon is the brain child of many members of an online STD Support Group called Picking up the Pieces.
Many people wanted to increase awareness and because of the lack of campaigns that were available, one person suggested that we develop our own ribbon like those you see on cars supporting our troops and Breast Cancer.
Because most colors were taken in support of other causes, it was decided that STD’s span across so many people, cultures, religions, races and ages, we decided to encompass everyone into one tie-dyed ribbon highlighting the diversity through which STD’s span. With orange and green being the prominent colors.
