About Us
The hey.nu Network is an online community clustered around community forums, and an IRC server. Our member base comes from across the globe, spanning a handful of countries and cultures. Each member brings his or her own personal interests, hobbies, preferences and opinions to the network and affects the overall theme of the community. As such, the Network's focus is almost always in a constant state of flux.
Mission
From the Network's point of view, we try to provide a place where anyone can come in and get to know some other people. We're a catalyst -- our primary focus has always been to promote a friendly and community-based atmosphere.
Naturally members also communicate directly through a variety of means, if they so choose. These are the primary services of the network, but others occasionally popup overnight when community interest demands them. For example, in the past we've had a voice-chat server, and short-lived Neverwinter Nights server running on Network hardware. Changes to existing services, and requests for new ones all depend on the community. (With some exception, of course!)
