- HiFi Club was begun in January, 1988 by owners Hans Betzholtz and Elaine LeVasseur, who designed the company while on their honeymoon in Italy. We incorporated in January, 2001 and moved to our present location at 519 Garden Street, Santa Barbara, California, in March 2002. Our company offers turnkey home entertainment systems, that is, we provide music and video systems that become a permanent part of your home.
