Their Colorado Ranch is 400 acres and is surrounded by thousands of acres of public land. It is a working cattle and horse ranch. Their ranch is located at 8,000 feet elevation. Winter produces some snow, but it usually completely melts between snows. Summer weather gives warm days and cool nights. Their location in the mountains allow many days that are suitable for horseback riding.
Happy has had the nickname of "Happy" all his life. His real name is Edwin Sidney Broussard. He was born and raised in Southern Louisiana, Cajun Country. He is the father of two and grandfather of two. He comes from a ranching background. His father being a veterinarian and rancher, Happy was raised working with horses and cattle.
