Description
High Prairie Quilts is a full line quilt shop located southeast of Denver in Parker, Colorado. We opened in May 1997 in 900 square feet with the goal of providing fabric, patterns, books, notions and classes to quilters in Douglas County, one of the fastest growing areas of the United States. In May 1999 we moved to a new location with 2500 square feet and in February of 2002 expanded into an additional 1300 square feet with new merchandise arriving daily.
HPQ has a comfortable, relaxed mountain feel inside. Located just southeast of Denver we enjoy a view of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains from Pikes Peak to Mt. Evans. One of our focal areas is on traditional quilts done with a variety of new fabrics, new notions and the many new methods available to the 21st century quilter. Our special emphasis is on the teaching of the art of quilting and friendly customer service. This is evident by the number and scope of classes offered in our quarterly newsletter.
Our store hours are Monday - Saturday 9:30 am to 5:30pm, Wednesday nights 5:30pm - 8:00pm, and Sunday 12:00 (noon) to 4:30pm.
