High Precision, Inc. manufactures several lines of proprietary products and also provides state-of-the-art contract manufacturing services for a broad range of industries and products. Our capabilities include traditional and CNC machining, injection molding, precision assembly, packaging and distribution. Our entire manufacturing process is backed up with extensive in-house engineering services and is integrated with state-of-the-art manufacturing software. High Precision Inc. began in 1945 and was originally conceived as a flexible contract manufacturing company. The company is still located on its original site in Hamden, CT. High Precision started as an organ manufacturing factory and it supported outsourced manufacturing for industries throughout New England. In 1961 HPI expanded to cover the entire United States and their services evolved as well. They began to manufacture for a wider range of business, ones that dealt with services as wide ranging as hardware, medical and even the early space program.
Currently High Precision Inc. is a company that operates on a world wide scale, providing components and industrial air power tools to a variety of clients. And despite their growth, High Precision Inc. maintains a strong presence as a contractor and tool designer for commercial and residential needs.
Widder Tools
Several years ago, High Precision Inc. acquired Widder Tools which has been a trusted brand for over 40 years. When you see the Widder trademark, you know you're receiving a product with the finest and most dependable design available. The hallmark of Widder tools is that they are built to perform reliably and safely in the toughest environments on Earth. Widder tools like the Model 10267 Pneumatic Hacksaw which was designed to work anywhere, in any environment--even underwater.
Every Widder tool is available with a complete line of accessories and expendable tooling. We're also capable of creating guides and special application clamps. This also includes any clamp or rig for specialty operations including under-water machining.
Our customers utilize Widder tools for a wide variety of uses, such as oil field maintenance, underwater exploration and other industrial applications.
Winning Ice
In early 2012, High Precision Inc. started Winning Ice Systems. They created Winning Ice as a branch of their business which would focus on the design and manufacture of complete systems for refrigerated ice rinks. Winning Ice Systems can build rinks as small as 10X12 goalie and shooting training pads, to full sized 60 x 120 ice rinks. All of the systems that Winning Ice designs are delivered ready for installation on any level surface, for permanent installation in a concrete or sand base. They're also available as a temporary or seasonal installation.
