HighValley.org Gathing place for ritual and celebration

Title

High Valley - A Gathering Place for Ritual and Celebration, is a place in the Mid-Hudson valley, where there is just a particularly pleasing confluence of hill and lake and barn and fields and woods.

Rituals at High Valley are rather unique. They are pagan (note, no caps) but eclectic, experiential--they always include a lot of singing by everyone, and dancing, by everyone, also drumming encouraged, and an unscripted style that is uncanny in how well it works.

There is a labyrinth, several miles of trails, and of course that lake. The lake has good swimming from May until late September; it's about three acres, fully enclosed by High Valley land, completely private; bathing suits are optional

High Valley holds its eclectic rituals four times a year: Samhain in October, Brigid/Mabon in February, Beltane in April/May, and Lughnasad in July/August. They are open to all, for a donation.

Hiking or hanging out, also for a donation.

About these donations: they are for helping to maintain the Center at High Valley, which is the place itself, and its celebrations.

High Valley is currently planning for the creation of community garden space not far from the lake for people to plant their own plot,(for a small fee) and harvest it, with the understanding that they will help keep it weeded.

High Valley is a not-for-profit, so your donations are actually tax deductible. You can find out more about High Valley at www.highvalley.org
