- The Kuffar have always plotted against the Muslims ever since the dawn of Islam. The Muslims from among al-Aws and al-Khazraj almost fought each other after that Jew had sown the seeds of animosity amongst them by inciting them and reminding them of what the poets of both tribes said on the day of Bu’ath in the times of Jahiliyah, had it not been for the intervention of the Messenger of Allah (saw) who reminded them by saying: “You follow the call of Jahiliyah while I am amongst you?” So they retracted, wept and sought Allah’s forgiveness. The plots of the Kuffar against the Muslims continued over the centuries and Allah safeguarded this Ummah up until today, despite the fact that what the Kuffar had plotted could have destroyed her. For the past two centuries, the plotting of the Kuffar never subsided, with the aim of fragmenting her and dividing her ranks, using all they possessed in terms of shrewdness and wickedness. Hence, they struck the Ummah with nationalist ties, which had dug up several ridges that are yet to be reconciled, and then they dismembered her further under the banner of patriotism, thus every fragment celebrated its independence and defended its flag and borders from the other fragment. Here is America today, in addition to the previous plots of the Kuffar reflected in nationalism and patriotism, plotting further against the Ummah – while she is on her way towards restoring Islam to the realm of life – and sowing the seeds of splitting the Ummah on a sectarian basis, so that the split may achieve far more malicious and wicked fruits than what nationalism, patriotism and tribalism had yielded. The outcome will be to prevent the rise of a sincere entity to represent all the Muslims without having a chunk of the Muslims excluded from it under the banner of Islam.
