We are a group of online gamers. The name HMXonline.com - The Online Gamings Syndicate is derived from HMX-1, our original PlanetSide outfit HMX-1; Online Gaming, meaning Internet video games; and syndicate, meaning group of people. HMX-1 was inspired from Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1), "The Nighthawks", based at Marine Corps Air Facility, Quantico, Virginia by the founding HMX-1 PlanetSide outfit leader whose good friend was a member of The Nighthawks. Our members actively play online video games of all genre's. This is a place where you can social network with other gamers.
My name is Scott "SolomonXDK" Norris and I am a 30 year old Floridian transplant, originally from America's Home town of Plymouth, Massachusetts . I am married to a lovely woman by the name of Jami and we have been together for 12 years now. My ethnic background is heinz 57, consisting of Wampanoag Indian, English Pilgrim descendent, German, & Scottish. My skills background is 21 years of Information Technology, all the way back to the Commodore Plus 4 days. A few years later the early days of 300bps modems and BBS pioneering. Was there for DOS 1.0-6.1, Windows for Workgroups, Windows 1,2,3,95,98,ME,2K,2K3,XP, and now Vista. I experienced the evolution of online entertainment grow from BBS' to AOL 1.0, CompuServe, and Prodigy via 300bps, 1200bps, 2400bps, 9600bps, 14.4kbps, 28.8kbps, 33.6kbps, 56kbps, and in the 90's the internet exploded via ISDN, 1st gen Satellite Internet, DSL, Broadband, eventually WiFi, and now Fiber. I run HMXonline.com - The Online Gaming Syndicate with the help of the donations from its members. The "XDK" in my alias originally represented the Unreal Tournament clan I once operated. Over time, it became a symbol of an inner-circle of members within random clans that personally know each other. You may see others on here with such a suffix, all of whom I know personally.
