The unending wars in the Holy Land have ravished the economy and social order. Those who suffer the most are those who can do the least about it--the children. Economic instability, family strife, and other social problems have increased dramatically.When I was 10 years old, my father passed away. My family experienced great financial hardships. I was then sent from Jordan to an orphanage in the town of Ramallah (just 10 miles north of Jerusalem) for the next 8 years.
