- We began ranking women's college-basketball prospects with the Class of 2006. Our policy is that we only evaluate, rate (star ratings) and rank players that we actually see - either in person (preferred) or on full-game video. As such, we do not rank on hearsay, reputation or third-party information. It also does not matter if the player plays in the summer, in high school only, is on a team sponsored by any particular companies or is independent. Nor does it matter how authoritative or reliable the source of any recommended ranking may be perceived.
