Our mission is to decrease the number of abandoned, injured, and abused dogs and cats through prevention and education. Also to help control the unwanted pet population through spaying and neutering, not killing.
The human spirit is not dead. It lives on in secret. It has come to believe that compassion, in which all ethics must take root, can only attain its full breadth and depth if it embraces all living creatures and does not limit itself to mankind.
HOPE Animal Foundation (Halt Overpopulation with Prevention and Education) was founded in 1998 in response to the growing concern over the vast number of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens being put to death every day in shelters. It is the Foundation's belief that through prevention (spay and neuter programs) and public education we can save lives.
