About Humane-So-Arizona.org
Founded in 1957, Arizona Humane Society is a private nonprofit organization. It was created by a group of compassionate volunteers who found it important to end animal suffering. It started with opening shelters for abandoned or unwanted animals so that they could be lovingly adopted. Thereafter it began to expand and become more than an adoption center. The Arizona Humane Society added humane-education and inexpensive spay/neuter services in the community.
