Even though some of us are still able to make our living outdoors through farming, construction, and other occupations, there's still something missing from our lives. Maybe it's relying on others for food that we inwardly rebel against. Or it could be a silent protest of the sedentary lifestyle that's becoming the norm. Either way, some sort of escape is necessary for our sanity.
The obvious escape is a return to the outdoors. But why traditional archery? Why not gun hunting? Guns are certainly a more effective way to take animals. But if the kill was all you were after, you wouldn't be interested in our products. Traditional archery is about challenging ourselves and having fun. We do it because the people back at work wouldn't begin to understand. We do it because it's in our blood.
