- The role of education has been recognized to be the basis for progress in any society. Education enables one to fulfill his or her potential and therefore benefit the community in general. It is also important to recognize how poverty can prevent many young people to get the basic education to help themselves and others. Recognizing this, few people got together to discuss how they can help break this poverty/lack of education cycle and support the most needy people in the community to get education in every level, from primary to university education. Although, this is still in its infancy, it worth to mention that a number of Gurgura people in Europe and North America are contributing to this educational support project. In the last few months, many children have received support from this project, and Insha Allah, it will help many more in the coming months and years, so the next generation will break these chains of poverty and dependency and stand on their own feet.
