High Wycombe Hash House Harriers - A drinking club with a runnning problem.
On every Tuesday evening throughout the year - summer and winter, rain or shine - the Hash meets at a pub within a 10 mile radius of High Wycombe for a 3 to 5 mile run or "Hash"(we have both long and short trails). The "ON" is given by the Hare at 7.45 p.m. (19.45 to you 24 hour merchants) so it is a good idea to arrive by about 7.40. The Hash sets off along a clearly defined trail (blobs of flour) with the front runners calling "ON-ON" for the benefit of the slower runners and latecomers catching up.
Much fun and five miles later we settle into the pub for a pub for a quiet but very social drink (OK, occasionally two)
