i-putra.com is the digital softcity of Malaysia's administrative capital Putrajaya. It is designed to be the interactive channel for the civic and urban activities that parallel, enhance, complement and sometimes compete with physical Putrajaya. The guiding principles for i-putra.com are the 4C's namely, content, context, community and commerce. We want to build an i-sphere, a Putrajaya wide electronically mediated environment where technology and communication network functions to enhance human to human interaction. As such, i-putra.com has its own truly Malaysian identity, with our norms and tradition.
Our eventually target is to build a truly worldwide digital community with i-putra.com becoming a central hub to support the function of civic and urban activities of the 21st Century. i-putra.com will or may contain all the elements of the city such as homes, offices, plazas, parks and other attractions and amenities such as mosque, arts museum and digital library. As the city is being built, i-putra.com will grow to provide interactivity channel for those whom live, work, play or visit Putrajaya.
