ilovephilosophy is a site for sharing ideas in all branches of philosophy. Our forums attract thousands of visitors from all over the world every day, with varying levels of philosophical background, but all interested in discussing ideas on philosophy, religion, politics, science and more.

There is also an associated online journal, Symposia, which is always accepting submissions. The journal hosts hundred of user-generated articles and creative pieces. It is designed to be both rigorous and accessible to everyone.

The site was started in 2001, and has enjoyed great success in fostering discussion and debate. Due to time constraints, in May of 2008 the site was passed down from Ben, the site's founder and chief administrator for 7 years, to Michael Corliss (Carleas on the boards), a forum contributer and staff member. The ethos of the site remains the same, but the new management has had more time to help the site continue its development as a staple of online philosophy.
