Description
Iarsn was started as a "private" website of Igor Arsenin. At the beginning it was a kind of fun and hobby. Later this site was transformed to Iarsn company's site. There you can find a number of system tools created by Igor Arsenin to simplify his own work at first and later developed to the state of high-quality software that you "must have" on your computer.
The most of Igor Arsenin's activities are system programming, writing drivers for Windows 9x/NT/2K/XP and applications performance tuning. So the programs on Iarsn site are from the same area.
I was graduated from Novosibirsk State University (Russia), physics and mathematics department in 1986. At this time there was no computer science. And somebody could become programmer by a chance. I was one of them. System programming became my speciality and hobby in 1983. My first "manual" in the system programming was source code of Digital DEC-11 OS RSX11M/PLUS. Very good sources! Some "echo" of these sources and documentation for RSX11 and VAX/VMS I see in the structures of Windows NT DDK. And it is not too astonishing. Digital DEC RSX11 and VAX/VMS are steps in experience of many developers of Windows NT. So my first driver was created under RSX11. Then some work on VAX/VMS. Since I has been working for many years on PC. Projects under DOS. Writing kernel and user-mode drivers for hardware under Windows 3.0/3.1/95/98/NT/2000/XP.
