Reason for Being
This blog was born out of my continuing frustration with the way the current administration (Blagojevich) is handling the Illinois government. I’ve never seen a party that had full control in Springfield fail to do anything right.
Objective
Primarily, to inform the Illinois public about the politics and policies that are affecting them, both on a national and statewide basis. Ideally, the breakdown would be 60/40 in favor of Illinois topics, but that is just a guideline and more than likely will not be strictly adhered to. I will try to focus on statewide and national issues, but may hit upon local (Chicago) and regional (Midwest) topics from time to time.
Secondarily, vent my frustrations to a wider audience in the hope that people will begin to see Blagojevich for what he is, a failure.
