Mike Dukart's first job out of the US Marines Corp was as a driver of VIP's for the famed Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Due to the sporadic nature of his duties, Mike was offered ample time to hang out with the geese at Rochester's Silver Lake, a popular stopping ground for thousands of migrating Canada geese. An avid hunter, Mike paid close attention to how the honkers communicated. One day, on a whim, he bought a goose call and tried it out on the geese.
