I decided to start this site after talking to one of my good friends. She and I have known each other for years. She has always been a BBW and proud of it. Her positive attitude has come across in the way she lives her life, the way she raises her children, and interacts with her husband, her family and friends.

One night we got to talking on the phone and she was disappointed because there were really no sites, groups, or on line communities which could serve as a resource for the plus size woman who is just happy being herself; not wanting to loose weight, not wanting to sift through endless web addresses and search engines for information and most importantly, not to just shop but... to have a site where she could connect and do it all…. from making new friends, to getting advice, to having fun and maybe even making some extra money.

With all of that in mind I have designed this site for her, for you and to provide me with the fulfillment to know that I am truly making a positive impact in peoples lives.
