The photographs shown on this site are a personal view of the many attractions of Dorset – they attempt to capture and portray a little of the atmosphere and visual diversity of the county, as influenced by its long history of settlement and strikingly varied geology.
First started in May 1998 as Dorset Scenery the site was re-launched in March 2001 as Images of Dorset – an identity more in keeping with the range of subjects illustrated in the many galleries of photographs. As with any creative process – feedback and comments are always welcome!
