Imagine IT operates chiefly in the fields of web site design and image manipulation. The design and functionality of a web site is important in making that 'first impression' to a potential customer. Imagine IT specialises in creating visually pleasing web sites that are easy for visitors to navigate and understand.
Imagine IT was created, by Pauline Bane, in November 1996 primarily as a photo restoration and alteration business although it also offered a design and print service. By May 1997 the business had expanded to encompass Internet Site Design and this now makes up around 85% of turnover and rising.
Before setting up Imagine IT, Pauline worked in many different fields. She was a secretary prior to family life but once children arrived on the scene, much part-time work followed. The main activity was a small bookkeeping and office services business. Other work has included running a grocery/off-licence, working in the catering industry, various clerical jobs, customer services and even yoghurt delivery!
