- Since its inception in 1985, Alliance for Justice's Judicial Selection Project (JSP) has taken the lead in raising the visibility of the importance of the federal courts. JSP monitors judicial nominations at all levels of the federal bench. It encourages public participation in the selection and confirmation process and raises public awareness about the significant impact the federal judiciary has on the country. JSP promotes support for the nomination and confirmation of fair and qualified judges who have demonstrated a commitment to equal justice.
