They are professional mountaineers who operate to the highest industry standards. The Peruvian Mountain Guides Association is Peru's professional guiding association affiliated to the Union Internacional Association de Guias de Montaña UIAGM. Guides become UIAGM certified guides when they have completed their extensive training in all disciplines.
Being a great climber or trekker alone is not enough to work with us; our standards demand that trip leaders are great certified UIAGM and CEAM guides as well.
