Description
Dr. Pina LoGiudice graduated from Bastyr University, the leading accredited university for science-based natural medicine. She completed five years of training in naturopathic medicine and acupuncture.
Before medical school, she worked as a researcher at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland where she researched the mechanisms of mind-body neuro-hormonal regulation. After medical school, Dr. LoGiudice completed a specialty internship in pediatric medicine and women's health. Dr. LoGiudice is a member of the American Association for Naturopathic Physicians, New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Physicians for Social Responsibility and is a Diplomat in Acupuncture. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester.
Dr. LoGiudice has recently co-authored an article on Parkinson’s disease for the Textbook of Natural Medicine, and is on the adjunctive faculty staff at New York University, where she will be teaching classes about Digestive Health and Healing and Immune Wellness for Children and Adults in the Summer of 2005. She is also on faculty at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Health in Manhattan. Dr. LoGiudice is a former gymnastics coach.
