- IPSI LLC (formerly International Process Services, Inc.) is a limited liability company formed by Bechtel Corporation and D. G. Elliot and Associates. IPSI serves as a gas processing technology center for Bechtel, as well as providing conceptual process design, process technology and consulting services, front end (feed) and bid package preparation, feasibility studies, economic evaluation, technical audits, precommissioning and commissioning assistance, and certain research and development activities to other clients in the field of oil and gas processing. IPSI is comprised primarily of senior process engineers, many of whom hold doctorate degrees in the field of chemical engineering. Founded in 1986, IPSI operates out of offices in the Bechtel Tower at 3000 Post Oak (near the Galleria), conveniently located to share both staff and support resources with Bechtel.
