This is an open letter intended to inform you that after three years of serving both the community of East Atlanta, and the foodies of the greater Atlanta area, that Iris will be closing its doors on the 17th of October 2005. Lein Schoe, Chris Reid and Nicolas Bour, as well as the excellent staff of Iris have always strived to provide a superior dining experience to each and every person we have had the wonderful pleasure to serve, yet it is time for us to move on to other opportunities
We hope you will join us for our grand farewell weekend, from Oct 14th through the 16th Lein, Nicolas Bour will offer a wonderful four course tasting menu with wine provided by the eponymous Vino Envy (AKA Chris Reid), for your dining pleasure. The cost will be seventy five dollars per person, including wine, and we promise that each and every night will be the best we have ever provided.
There should be no sadness only excitement for the things to come. Once again we thank you all for 3 wonderful years in East Atlanta. And we hope to see you all soon.
