Description
We were both born and brought up in Shetland and now live in Tingwall, just outside Lerwick. We live in an old farmhouse which we are refurbishing.
Allan has his own body shop which his father started in 1973. His dad had a few campers he used to rent out in the 80's and Allan has always had a keen interest in them. I have a hairdressing salon in Lerwick (Studio 4 Hair) which I've been running since 1996. Last year we moved to our new premises on Harbour St in Lerwick.
We've been together for 13 years and our first baby was born in May 2006. We have travelled quite a lot in that time, always trying to discover somewhere new. I have to confess that, at first, we were looking for somewhere to move to, but the more we travelled, the more we began to appreciate what we have right here at home.
