Isom IGA is an independent, locally-owned supermarket serving Letcher County and its surrounding areas. Isom IGA has been owned and operated by Arthur and Gwen Christon since 1998, but Gwen has spent 30 years serving the local community in the grocery industry. Arthur and Gwen work side by side each day with the rest of their staff to bring IGA's quality and value to their customers.
What sets Isom IGA apart from the rest is our emphasis on customer service. Whether we're offering a friendly hello, assisting you with your shopping, or carrying your groceries to your vehicle, you will see that we pride ourselves in the way we serve our customers.
Isom IGA has been named a FIVE STAR IGA for four consecutive years, is a member of the Letcher County Chamber of Commerce, and Gwen Christon was named the 2002 Minority Advocate of Southeastern USA by the United States Small Business Administration.
