Reto Iten, the owner of the company, started his career in one of the largest banks in the world. Some years later he wished to experience industry and other countries. In 1985 he worked as a manager in the commercial section of a producer of textile printing screens. The by- products made were Tobacco bands and Collector tubes, which at that time were produced for the OEM. In order to separate the textile and tobacco businesses a trading company was found in 1987 which was headed by Reto Iten.
