- A wonderful, thick hill of English Ivy could be seen from all directions as you stood at the top of the ravine. This lush carpet of green cascaded down to the lake behind the location where in 1992 we started our business. It was a lovely sight and a serene setting. Naturally, we knew that "Ivy Hill" had to be the name of our new company. Around this same time, a little black and white stray kitten came to us and for lack of a better name, she became known as, Ivy or Ivycat. This little kitten grew along with our business and now she is a wonderful old cat that hangs out around the office. We have since moved to a larger location, but we will always recall with fondness that picturesque ivy covered hill where our business began.
