Jaka Železnikar is an author that can be placed somewhere in between the fields of poetry, prose, computer and Internet art.
In his works he tries to discuss various personal and social issues in the contemporary world through contents, form and context. A constant part of his work is the content and formal research of expression, mainly in the information and communication technologies media, especially in the field of web texts (in combination with fine art elements).
Alongside his artistic work he also works as a selector/curator and writes on contemporary art. (He is also the editor of Mladina online, an independent magazine that comments on politics and culture).
