Description
I can remember drawing my first masterpiece at the age of five. (I remember that because of the spanking I received for drawing on the wall!) In grade school I would draw pictures for classmates in exchange for candy. In high school I excelled in sports and art.. until I discovered my high school sweetheart (who I swept off her feet and we are still married today).. and put both sports and art on hold.
I attended three years of college level art training at Canada College in Redwood City, CA. I studied drawing (beginners, intermediate and advanced) as well as painting (oils, watercolor and acrylics), and also studied art design and color theory.
Currently I'm instructing at the Saratoga, Santa Clara, Campbell and Morgan Hill Community centers, where I've been teaching for nearly two years. I have taught in a private studio and I have an ongoing list of private students. I've also worked with home-schoolers and children with special needs.
