Description
Founded in 1976, Jameson Gibson Construction is headed by partners Chris Jameson and Gene Gibson, who grew up in the construction business.
Having a combined total of 56 years experience in the local Memphis construction market they have an extensive background in all types of commercial, and industrial construction. They do not limit themselves by specializing in any one type building. Their experience includes a myriad of building and construction types, uses and construction means and methods. The Jameson Gibson organization has successfully completed over 50 million square feet of buildings varying from office, retail, entertainment, restaurant, hotels, casinos, manufacturing, hospitals, schools, jails, industrial, warehouse and distribution, museums and exhibits to lakes and dams in the past 22 years.
In addition to the general construction company which performs concrete work, carpentry, drywall, etc., Jameson Gibson owns a custom millwork manufacturing company and a maintenance company which provides millwright and pipe-fitting work to industrial and manufacturing clients. Currently employing a staff of twenty-four project managers, estimators, superintendents and clerical, and three hundred tradesmen, duties of the partners are divided. Chris being responsible for project management, field operations, accounting, and Gene overseeing estimating, marketing, financial management.
