Description
We are a group of young professionals between the ages of 19 and 39 who come together to take advantage of the opportunities we have to develop ourselves, our community, and our world. We formed in November 1999, and our local chapter is affiliated with JCI Canada, which has approximately 40 chapters across Canada, from Newfoundland to British Columbia. We are also affiliated with Junior Chamber International, which has over 200,000 members world wide, in over 100 countries and over 6000 communities.
Business Development- We provide the opportunity for our members to contribute to the development of the economic infrastructure and prosperity of their communities. We also provide the opportuniy for our members to network with other young business owners in the community, across Canada, and around the world.
Community Development - We provide the opportunity for our members to develop the sensitivity to societal needs, and to develop the knowledge of community dynamics to meet these needs through actual experiences.
