About Jerry Brito
Jerry Brito is a fellow in regulatory studies at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University where his research focuses on intellectual property and telecommunications policy. He is also the editor of the online magazine Brainwash, as well as a contributor to the Technology Liberation Front. He lives in Washington, D.C.
Brito received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law and his B.A. in political science from Florida International University. In law school he was managing editor of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal and a member of GMU's Moot Court Board.
Brito's op-eds have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Miami Herald, The Los Angeles Daily Journal, The Ottawa Citizen, The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, and elsewhere. He has written mainly on politics and technology policy. He is also the author of several published scholarly articles.
