Excerpted from the website:
- The Jersey Coast Chapter was founded in 1917 along with several other chapters in Monmouth County . During World War II, all Monmouth County chapters were united into one chapter that was headquartered in Shrewsbury in a residential house in Shrewsbury . The Board of Directors, in the early 1960’s, voted to expand the Chapter’s facility by taking down the residential building and replacing it with a larger chapter house.
