- The Jesus-Ministry Conference Series was birthed out of Destiny City Church and New Song Church in 2003. In January of 2000 God began to “invade” Destiny City Church in such a way, that drastic changes began to occur in personal restoration, physical healing, and release from oppression through the power of Christ (read this article by Pastor Mike Riches for more info). With no plan of ever starting a conference series (nor feeling like they had it “all together”), Destiny City Church began offering weekend teaching and prayer meetings to local churches due to requests for teaching. Since then, the weekend meetings have taken the form of a weeklong conference.
