Description
Jim Bulgatz was born and raised in New York City. Since childhood he's been deeply involved in various forms of artistic culture, from music and dance, to photography and film. He's taught and performed various forms of dance, and studied photography at various levels. He was educated in the liberal arts, economics and computer science at Columbia University, and photography at the School of Visual Arts.
For several years now, he's been working as a professional photographer, making the transition to full-time photographer and filmmaker in mid-2002. Experienced with both film and digital media, Jim now concentrates on the digital format. He works out of his professionally equipped studio near Lincoln Center on the upper west side of Manhattan. The studio is available for headshots, portraits and portfolio development. Jim is also available for location work in fashion, portraiture, events, landscapes, urbanscapes and more.
