JITOA
Jitoa - Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association - Jitoa was set up in 2003 to look after the interests of Jordanian tour operators and represent them vis-à-vis government, especially on matters they are directly affected on in the tourism sector.
Members as owners
JITOA is a tour operators association where members are also "owners" with direct stake in making their Association work, have influence and prosper.
Tourism componants
JITOA’s role is important to bring the different tourism components together. Through its executive board they have a direct relationship with the Ministry of Tourism, individual tour operators members (core), hoteliers (associate members), tour guides (associate members), and academics (individual members.

JITOA members represent 80% of the packages to Jordan, around 215,000 tourists with average of $800 per package; about $172,000,000 brought into Jordan each year. This is other than all the money the tourist will spend when they stay in Jordan, and all the other indirect people and businesses that are benefiting from this
