- After my German “Abitur” and one year of compulsory social service, I enrolled in International Economic Studies at Maastricht University (Netherlands). I chose that particular university because it offers a so-called problem based learning methodology, meaning that students study in tutorial groups in an interactive manner, rather than attending lectures.
