- Based in California, John has been an independent freelance photographer for over 25 years. His career began as an apprentice to Hollywood glamour photographer Douglas Kirkland. Specializing in the performing arts, John’s work includes motion picture, theatre, music, as well as celebrity portraiture. A mentor himself, John serves on the Board of Directors for the Dream Project, which funds art projects for underprivileged children in his community.
