The main area of John Laszlo's work is in General Dental Practice. It is here that an emphasis is placed on the accurate diagnosis of the symptoms patients complain of and signs they display. The first task is to diagnose the conditions as they present in patients. These can be: Commonly: gum disease and decay often causing pain, to the: Rarely; more complicated and sometimes silent problems that patients can carry for many years. Such as the oral cancers and signs of some commonly socially and sexually transmitted diseases.
Mr Laszlo refers to specialists in hospitals where necessary and will arrange liaison care and follow up to ensure the best possible results for those attending and to ensure patients don't fall through holes in the NHS system. In London and the South East England we are fortunate to have built up a good network of specialists and hospital contacts to deal with complicated cases. Sometimes we deal with cases that no-one else wants to see. The professional reward is we end up with the most fascinating patients to look after!
Although John Laszlo is a dentist in General Practice, the main strengths are in diagnostic skills learned through many years of practice, post graduate study and continuing professional development with memberships of two Surgical Colleges.
