Description
Wokingham Conservative Association campaigns to secure the election of a Conservative Member of Parliament and Conservative Councillors on Wokingham and West Berkshire Unitary Authorities and the local Town and Parish Councils.
The Association supports the national Conservative party. It has a diverse membership representing all sections of the local community, united by their belief in smaller government, stronger democracy, increasing freedom for individuals and families to live their lives as they choose, and the provision of good quality public services in those areas like health, education and defence where the state has an important role to play.
It annually elects a President, Chairman and Association Officers to organise political and social activities, to raise money, to select candidates to fight elections and to keep the membership informed.
