Description
John is a calligrapher, designer of logotypes & illustrator of expressive letterforms with 20+ years experience. He has worked for well known clients in book & magazine publishing, design, television & film, corporations & educational institutions.
In addition to the graphics application of his work, John has practiced calligraphy as an art form, producing one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces that are included in many private and public collections throughout the world. He has had several solo exhibitions, including Writing Considered As an Art at The San Francisco Public Library and Univ.of Portland at the International Calligraphy Conference in 1991, in addition to many group exhibitions.
He has participated in The New York Society of Scribes 25th anniv. exhibtion Artist & Alphabet in October 1999 and Looking at the Same Moon, Summer 2000 / Netherlands
