Welcome to the home page of John Nelson - scientist, engineer, designer, gamer, biker, entrepreneur and just all around swell guy. Professionally, I design and develop software for a living. I'm also owner of my own IT consulting business, and co-founder of a local Internet web hosting company. I'm a masters candidate at George Mason University and am currently finishing up my thesis project (an evolutionary computation approach to protein folding).
